Dr. Adam Fisch
Assistant Pathologist, Head & Neck & Endocrine Pathology
Dr. Adam Fisch is an Assistant Pathologist specializing in head and neck, endocrine, and molecular genetic pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School. He completed his MD and PhD through the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, followed by anatomic pathology residency at MGH and fellowships in molecular genetic pathology and head and neck/endocrine pathology.
Dr. Fisch’s research focuses on tumor biology of head and neck and endocrine neoplasia and the application of molecular diagnostic techniques, including testing for virally driven malignancies. He has presented at major scientific meetings such as USCAP and AMP, contributed to book chapters in head and neck and thyroid pathology, and received the Anatomic Pathology Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award at MGH.
His expertise in diagnostic and molecular aspects of head and neck tumors supports advanced case-based discussions in salivary gland neoplasia.
